Anastasia Podvysotska is a Ukrainian-American magical realist artist with a background in both academic art and architecture. Her work has been exhibited in San Francisco galleries, local festivals, and a group exhibition in Athens and Tokyo. Anastasia’s paintings transform invisible emotions and inner conflicts into visual expressions, using symbolism and narrative storytelling. Anastasia’s paintings explore themes such as the fear of change, self-expression in professional life, and environmental concerns. Primarily working in watercolor and oil, she blends meticulous detail with surreal scenes, often featuring cityscapes, nature, and symbolic characters—both human and animal—intertwined with meaning.

Born in Kyiv, Anastasia, currently splits her time between Berlin and San Francisco. Always eager for new challenges, she pushes her technical abilities in painting and explores unique perspective angles. Anastasiia finds inspiration in everyday situations, nature, and her frequent travels. Outside of her art, she enjoys running, cooking, self-education, and embracing an environmentally conscious lifestyle, and occasionally designs houses.
